Meet Dr. Myko Varkalis

Dr. Myko Varkalis is an endodontist committed to delivering precise, compassionate, and evidence-based care. Originally from Lithuania and raised in Florida, he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Cell Science and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida (go Gators!!).

Before pursuing specialty training, Dr. V practiced as a general dentist for three years, gaining broad experience in endodontics, surgery and implants. He completed fellowships with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics after extensive training in implant placement and restoration. This foundation deepened his appreciation for preserving natural teeth whenever possible and ultimately led him to specialize in endodontics.

Dr. V completed his endodontic residency and Master of Science degree at the University of Detroit Mercy, a program recognized for managing complex and challenging cases. He emphasizes thorough evaluation, accurate diagnosis, painless anesthesia, and conservative, anatomy-respecting endodontic treatment.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys snowboarding, trail running, listening to podcasts and spending time with his dog, Olive. He also prioritizes staying current with the latest clinical advancements. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
